Gaithersburg West Master Plan

The Montgomery County Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on the Draft Gaithersburg West Master Plan on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

The hearing will be in the auditorium of the Park and Planning Headquarters at 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring.

(Please note that the space between "planning" and "board" in the web address is an underscore: (planning_board.) Each person will be limited to three minutes and total testimony for the evening will be limited to three hours. The Board welcomes written testimony in lieu of - or in addition to - addressing the board orally. Anyone appearing before the Board must provide 10 copies
of all materials presented to the Board, including electronic presentations, letters, photos, maps, etc.

The Public Hearing Draft Gaithersburg West Master Plan can be viewed at www.montgomeryplanning.org/community/gaithersburg/index.shtm. Copies of the Plan are also available at local libraries, including Quince Orchard, Potomac, Montgomery Village, and others. Copies of the Plan have been mailed to leaders of the civic associations in the planning area.

Prior to the Planning Board Public Hearing, Planning Department staff will hold a Community Meeting to present and discuss the Draft Master Plan recommendations and the draft Design Guidelines. The Community Meeting will be:
